RESERVATIONS SYSTEM
The AirKiosk reservations system is one of the industry's most advanced solutions available today, comprised of all of the functions and reliability found in traditional systems based on the IPARS standards, but expanded with the new functions not available in old solutions. Additional functionality offered by the AirKiosk system includes:
- no limited to 365 days and less schedule load
what does this mean?
Traditional reservations systems can hold a schedule for up to 365 days maximum. In the AirKiosk system, schedule can be loaded beyond that limit, which allows our airlines to offer their flights when no other airline's flights are available. The early opening of sales gives an airline more opportunities to maximize load factor. This feature is particularly interesting for airlines specializing in the leisure market, flying to holiday destinations, or targeting travelers to specific events.
- weight limit based availability
what is this?
Every booking in the AirKiosk system is allocated with weight based on passenger type code and gender. The system allows the definition of the maximum passenger weight for the aircraft assigned to the flight. This function manages booking restrictions based on the cumulative weight of all passengers, replacing the need for manual monitoring of availability below the full seating capacity. This feature is interesting for airlines with flights to airports with weight limitations on takeoff and landing, and for airlines which combine the transport of people and goods, where at times the revenue for goods is higher than that for passengers.
- adjacent inventory control
