"The AirKiosk system gave us the professional product we required at
a sensible cost, and because the basic system is now so well proven we were
able to go from placing the order to a fully commissioned website in less
than 9 weeks. The 'can do' approach of the whole team was fundamental to our
success."

Passengers Greet UK's Newest Airline with Immediate Bookings
A rapid flow of online bookings marks the June 3 launch of www.manx2.com,
"home" to Manx2, the UK's newest airline. Manx2's services from the Isle of
Man offer convenient day trips and connections to low-cost flights to Europe
and the U.S.
Manx2's research in the region found high demand for both leisure and
commercial travel, leading to an online booking model offering both low-cost
seats and a "Manx Gold" class with additional services, including the
ability to change reservations at no charge, to meet the requirements of
business passengers.
Chief Executive Noel Hayes personally selected the AirKiosk system for
Manx2's integrated reservations, inventory and revenue management. "The
AirKiosk system gave us the professional product we required at a sensible
cost, and because the basic system is now so well proven we were able to go
from placing the order to a fully commissioned website in less than 9 weeks.
The 'can do' approach of the whole team was fundamental to our success."
Manx2 begin flights to Belfast International and Blackpool on July 15, and
to Leeds Bradford Airport on August 12.
Mr. Hayes, founder of the Channel Islands' Rockhopper (now Blue Islands)
airline, and partner James Filleul, a former BBC editor and communications
specialist, "spotted a requirement for a strongly financed and well managed
small regional airline" to link the Isle of Man with regional airports.
"Manx2 will combine the best practices of low cost carriers with the
friendly service our passengers rightly expect," said Mr. Hayes.
