"I thought the online check-in was extremely simple, easy to follow and very
quick. I wish I could do this for all my journeys. I love the idea of being
able to allocate your own seat, that's great."

Jet2.com Welcome "Self-Checked" Passengers Today
DepartureKiosk.com launched today on selected routes for one of the UK's
major low-fare carriers, Jet2.com.
The DepartureKiosk system, Sutra's online check-in facility for AirKiosk
system-hosted airlines, allows passengers to retrieve their booking
information, select seats and generate boarding passes online, prior to
traveling to the airport for a booked flight.
Online check-in dramatically increases passenger convenience, and reduces
airport handling time and costs as flights are preparing to depart. This is
particularly important for business destinations such as the
Manchester-London Gatwick route operated by Jet2.com in competition with
legacy carrier British Airways.
Boarding Passes include 2D bar code data and PNL/ADL formats are compliant
with IATA standards for use by IATA-standard DCS systems. Flight-related
SEAT, PSPT and CHKD Special Service Request (SSR) codes are transmitted in
PNL/ADL messages.
The DepartureKiosk system can also be configured for self-service airport
Departure Kiosk equipment.
